Martin Playne is a writer and self-publisher. He is author of this blog site. He wants his blogsite to encourage discussion on Australian history, particularly that where genealogical techniques are used to flesh out early families. Occasionally, he will release reviews of books he has read. Mostly however, he will use this site for discussion of techniques on writing and publishing non-fiction.

He is currently writing a new book on the lives and families of the Great Will Forgers of the 1840s.
